I believe that Narrative Inquiry is a research approach and a phenomenon. We share our stories with our family, friends, colleagues, and patients, through which we gain knowledge that move us forward in time and grow as humans. At Ryerson University, I completed my Master of Nursing degree. For my thesis, I used Narrative Inquiry to explore the lived and told stories of point-of-care nursing leadership in the OR. Under the guidance of Dr Jasna Schwind and the support of the NI-WIP, I continue to embody Narrative Inquiry as a registered perioperative nurse, researcher, educator, wife, daughter, sister, and friend.
